Privacy Policy

This policy explains how JBE IT Services ("JBE", "we") handles personal data collected through jbeitservices.com. We process personal data in accordance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD - Law 13.709/2018) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Data we collect

We only collect the data you choose to send through our contact and demo request forms: name, e-mail, phone, WhatsApp, social media and LinkedIn profiles, company name, company phone, website, company size, country, area of interest, product of interest, availability and your message. Only name, e-mail, phone, area of interest and message are mandatory.

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking. Our fonts are served from our own server. We store your language and light/dark theme preference in your browser only, to display the site the way you chose.

To understand how the site is used, we keep our own visit statistics, without cookies or third-party services: page visited, language, country (derived from the IP address, which is not stored), device type, browser and the site that referred you. Each visitor is counted with a code that changes every day and cannot identify you. Browsers with "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control" enabled are not counted. These statistics are kept for up to 400 days.

For security, we keep an irreversibly hashed identifier of your IP address to limit abusive submissions, and standard web-server logs kept by our hosting provider.

2. Why we use it

• To respond to your request, schedule demonstrations and continue the conversation you started (legal basis: your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries).
• To manage our commercial relationship with you, if you become a client (performance of a contract).
• To protect the website against spam and abuse (legitimate interest).

3. Storage and sharing

Submissions are stored in a database on our hosting provider's servers and delivered to our business mailbox. Access is restricted to authorised JBE staff through a password-protected administration area. We do not sell or rent personal data and share it only when required by law.

4. Retention

Contact and demo requests are kept for up to 24 months after our last interaction, or for as long as a business relationship exists, and are then deleted. Rate-limit identifiers expire automatically.

5. Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, portability or information about the processing of your data, and withdraw consent at any time, by writing to contact@jbeitservices.com.

6. Security

The website is served over HTTPS, forms are protected against cross-site request forgery and automated abuse, database access uses prepared statements, and administrator passwords are stored only as strong one-way hashes.

7. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
